I am Lucy Murray Willis and I’m a photographer currently living in New York City, originally from the UK. I specialize in landscape, people and industrial portraiture, driven by fascination with everything made from the ground up.
I studied Graphic Design at Edinburgh University and I’ve always used photography as a way of understanding and exploring. My father was a goldminer in Northern California which has driven my interest into industrial landscapes and people in practices that use natural materials. I use my love of design, architecture, materials and light as influences throughout all of my photography.
In the last couple of years I’ve had photographs published in print and online with various publications such as Womanly Magazine, Into The Well, The Financial Times, Hyundai, Mr Porter Journal, Outlook Magazine, Cool Hunting and Above Sea Level Magazine.
